I forgot to write about my bad-ass trip to the X-Games!!!

Hello!
So, for the latest installment of the wild'n'crazy life and times of me! Last Saturday afternoon, Jan. 29th, I headed to Aspen, Colorado with my best friend, Graham, from High School, his girlfriend, Elizabeth, and their friend from the Air Force, Ben. We left Denver and headed into the mountains as it was getting dark. Before we even got out of town, we hit wicked weather. It poured down rain and then it turned to ice and then snow. We made it, ever so slowly, to Aspen around 10pm. Just in time to see the free Roots concert! It was incredible! We even lucked out and got idyllic parking just about a block from the venue. So, after that, we drove for about an hour back to our hotel in Glennwood Springs. After a little confusion there, we found a new place to stay that was even cheaper. Cool. Sunday morning we got up and headed back to Aspen to enjoy the X Games. It was unreal! We climbed up alongside the rim of the Superpipe and watched a bunch of the practice runs. While there, we saw an ESPN crew filming a commentator doing intro spots for their coverage of the games. Liz immediately noticed that the guy, who must have screwed up his lines a dozen times, wasn't just any ESPN commentator. He was none other than the gorgeous G-Love of G-Love and the Special Sauce! We stood there drooling for quite a while, inherently making he poor guy crack up and have to start his little walk and his lines all over again, for the zillionth time! So, after that, we watched the men's Slopestyle and played at the sponsor booths. Graham and Liz went into the Blizzard Booth to win key chains. We got autographs from Eddie Wall. We almost got autographs from Jonny Moseley and Shaun White! All in all, we had a real blast, up until our hellatious drive home. It shouldn't have taken more than four hours, five max to get back to Aurora where G and Liz live. It took us almost eight. It was crazy. Then, I was so delerious from driving all that way, I got lost on my way back to my house and a drive that should have taken me 25 minutes, took me an hour and a half. I was exhausted! Well, anyway, we had a ton of fun! I only took a few pictures and they didn't come out all that well, but Graham and Liz's friend Ben is a photographer and he took some fantastic shots. I wish I could figure out how to post pics here. I'm clearly just not that smart...but man, am I ever having fun in Colorado! The X Games!
