I think I owe it to myself to actually move to Portland and not just talk about it until I finally settle down for good in Chicago and end up never having really ventured outside of the Midwest all my life. I'm just kind of scared about moving 2000 miles away and not knowing anyone, you know? I know I'd be happy in Chicago, but there'll always be that what if. Anyway, I'm visiting Portland in August, this much is (almost) certain. Despite all this talk of moving there, this will actually be my first real time there (if we don't count infancy). If I fall in love with it, I'll probably end up there, so we'll see.
