before the show started i somehow successfully navigated my friends from somewhere south of the city all the way to wash u. danced to of montreal in the back(stage) where i'm pretty sure everyone was pissed at me, but hell, there were 600 fucking people in the gargoyle (100 above capacity and at least 50 more than i've ever seen in there) last night, there wasn't room anywhere else. first time i've ever seen them have to turn people down at the doors. the show was great, i love that band, i love seeing them live. we came back here for a bit to drop off my friends' stuff, and then we went over to kwur's after party, which was almost as ridiculously crowded as kwur parties usually are. i stole a lot of kevin and bp's glitter (OFF THEIR FACES) and they laughed and acted like ecstatic children. kevin barnes is the gayest straight man i have ever met in my life. guys, this is why i was so surprised when i found out he wasn't gay all those months ago, you've got to understand now. he also appeared to hook up with an apparent freshman.
