A Haiku for a Moment of Feeling

Sometimes I write poems to try to capture a moment of something I'm feeling.

Here's one I just wrote:

Slipping sinking sand
Dying purple roses drift
Moonlight melts the moat.

Also, sorry I haven't posted comments in a few days....I'm catching up on that tonight.
