Moon rise
Last Friday night we were up at the lake at the trailer. It was a gorgeous night and sitting by the fire I noticed the moon on high and that it was full. I took my flashlight and camera and took a walk down to the open or beach area. It was deserted and so I climbed up on the lifeguard's chair and just sat there and admired the night sky. The harvest moon comes next month so named because farmers could gather crops by the light of the moon because it is so bright. The summer we almost had is come and gone - all hopes for Indian Summer remain high.
