An extremely long, harsh winter and delayed spring is proving to be much harder for our woodland creatures than I would have thought.
The deer are coming much closer to our homes looking for food. No one has the heart to stop them from eating their shrubs and even tulips.
Most of the ones we see are quite skinny, their rib cages bulging and spindly legs.
