My dear blogfriends, there are things I need to tell you about.
Like, the realization, which pretty much bashed me upside the head, that my career is sorta stalled and it's ALL MY FAULT.
Or, my take on crushes, and how my warped romantical perspective is so very different from the majority of the world.
But at this very moment, there's something even more pressing that I need to mention:
As of about 5:00pm mountain time, my mother will no longer be a resident of the state of Montana.
Dad left a few weeks ago to get oriented at his new job and get moved into the new place (and do his laundry at his mom's house...which will never cease to make me giggle). Since then, mom has been getting the old house, which they lived in for 30 years, cleaned up and cleaned out. She's been finishing up the various moving tasks, doing her last days at the job, spending some last dinners with her (my) friends.
As of 5:00 today, I don't have to care about tiny-town-in-the-middle-of-nowhere ever again.
I mean, I'll care about my friends (what few there still are there), but all that baggage, all the negativity and...well...general lameness? I'm lettin' it go. (as best as I can, anyway)
Bye Bye, Montana. Thanks for helping to make me what I am today. I couldn't have gotten here without you.
....I just wish you'd been a little nicer about it :)
oh, and
HAPPY MOVING DAY, MOMMY!!
