As promised here are my brief reviews of the 8 films we saw at the London Film Festival. They are quite a mixed bag but not as mixed as in previous years as there is only one foreign language film on the list which surprised us when we realised as usually we go for foreign language films

I saw a trailer for the David Copperfield film and couldn’t quite understand whether it was a spoof or not so thanks for that.

No, not a spoof though it is very funny at times. It’s just a slightly different way of adapting the novel.

We certainly did though we did get rather tired eyes. Some people see about four films a day throughout the film festival but we're not up for that.
