Oh, to be in England...

...where the weather is ridiculously gorgeous today! Happy St George's Day to all and Happy Birthday to Will Shakespeare.

In celebration here are a couple of photos I took in Stratford-upon-Avon last year and just to prove it's spring some photos of trees in blossom that I took last week.

Poor Will, little did he know that people would be doing this to him almost 450 years in the future. Outside the public loos too, the indignity of it, or is it a statement about Shakespeare the Common Man rather than the Earl of Oxford *g*.

Shakespeare's birthplace complete with tourists and actors!

And as it's Shakespeare's death day as well here's his grave.

And as I'm in a picspammy mood and I haven't posted these here are some more. My new camera has a rather cool feature, which I haven't completely mastered yet, but it takes panoramic shots. Here are a couple of my favourite places in all of London.

It's also Doctor Who Day today and it seems to be David Tennant Day tomorrow as he's achieving the unusual feat of being on television and radio at the same time as he's in "United" on BBC2 and "Kafka - The Musical" by Murray Gold on Radio 3!

We're entertaining my parents tomorrow and I may not be around that much so Happy Easter to those who celebrate it.
