My aunt died. Nobody told us for over 2 weeks. We found out from someone who read a newspaper in the seattle area & saw the obituarie. It was a sudden death. She got sick & ended up in the hospital. They said if she got better she would be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life but she passed away

I'm sorry about your aunt. My husband's side of the family is like never telling us when an old aunt or uncle dies. I found a couple obits in the paper the same way.

Thank you . It was just strange because we were so close to this aunt. We would talk to her on the phone every month. I have lots of family in the seattle area but she was the one who kept us up to date on everything out there.
