(no subject)
I'm going to Svalbard next week. It hasn't really sunk in yet, but I'm sure it will at some point during the 20 hours I'll be spending travelling.
It's been so long since I've updated that I just don't know what to say. I'm sure some pretty interesting things must have happened in the last month, but I can't think of any of them right now. Let me think... We had our kitchen tap fixed, so now we don't have to carry hot water through from the bathroom. Four of the residents at work moved to different care homes. I did a course on "Food and Nutrition Skills", and tried eating really healthily for a week. Nicky's been ill. Alex has broken his toe. I've got contact dermatitis (like eczema) on my hands, which may be caused by an allergic reaction to either the soap or the gloves at work. Guides is driving me crazy, I'm beginning to think I should be a Ranger Leader instead. Err...
If anyone's in Wycombe and free on the 19th or 29th this month and wants to do something let me know.
