Ok So I Just Got Marion Raven's album.....
Cause the downloaded version I had sucked balls, all the songs were shitty quality. I love this girl, I can't believe she used to be in a shitty pop band. Thank fuck for her seeing sense. Admittedly, its still pop. But its rocky pop. Bit like Kelly Clarkson. But the reason for my postage is that the version of Heads Will Roll on the album is different to the single version. And I fucking like it! You can hear Nikki's bass riff more clearly, and James Michael is on backing vocals it sounds fantastic. I mean the single version is awesome too. The video rules [course it does shes butt naked on top of a mass pile of women who are also butt naked whats not to like?] and I love that version in general. But theres just something more raw about the album version.
I dont think shes every rockers cup of tea but hell, shes gone from being in a crap pop band to working with Meatloaf and Sixx AM [DJ Ashba did the production on the majority of the album, James Michael on backing and Nikki Sixx on bass/production], the girl blatantly did something right!
Might update a bit more later when I can think of something to write. I need to start writing songs. I miss music =[.
On the upside of musical things though I've almost got all of the Pixies Gigantic down so that's an achievement [ok so theyre a piece of piss but still.Its one up from what I could play before!]. So yay.
