Describe yourself in five sentences or less: I don't think I fit into five sentences. I like words. I love animals. I've done portrait photography, choral music, social work, and customer service. In every job I've ever had I've become the trainer. I'm in transition in a lot of ways. One of which is learning to live with a wheelchair. A friend once labeled me a nature mystic, which is probably the most accurate term, though I often call myself a cafeteria spiritualist, because I've dabbled in a lot of religions and tend to keep my favorite parts of each.
Top 5 fandoms: "Fandom" implies community, and I associate it with a certain level of "squee," which may be unfair. I enjoy shows with an ensemble of interesting characters. Some favorite shows/books: The West Wing (which is the closest I get to squee), The Newsroom, Firefly, Veronica Mars, The Closer, Gilmore Girls, Dresden Files, In Death series, Game of Thrones.
I mostly post about... My cats. :) Also I'm in therealljidol, so I write short fiction or personal essays for that when it's in season (which it is now).
My last three LJ posts were about... Daily stuff, the LJ revival, and a goal setting workshop I'm leading under goals_workshop.
How often do you post? How about commenting? I've been a member since 2003, and I used to post multiple times a day. I recently changed all my previous posts to private. Lately I've mostly only posted when Idol was in season, but I'm committed to this LJ revival idea, and am posting daily now (though it's still a conscious effort). My posts are mostly friends-locked, except for Idol entries. I suck at commenting. I have to be honest about that, but I mean well. I just don't tend to comment unless I have something to contribute.
