seven_of_nine has just regained consciousness in Sickbay. Tuvok and a security team went to apprehend her after the 'incident' in Engineering with paristorres. As he reported, instead of an out-of-control Seven, he encountered a little girl who said her name was 'Maryl'. She was crouched in an almost fetal position--paralyzed with fear, he said--near the body of a downed security guard. Within a few moments however, Seven's demeanor changed but instead of her own identity, she proclaimed herself to be 'Subaltern Lorot of the Vulcan High Command', and then underwent yet another transformation almost immediately. The latest manifestation did not identify itself, but from the few words spoken before Seven lunged at Tuvok, he guessed it was Klingon.
emh believes Seven is suffering from a neurological disorder; 13 additional neural patterns have suddenly appeared in her cerebral cortex. He needs to run more tests to determine why this has occurred and what steps to take to correct it.
Meanwhile, on the bridge we're tracking a Borg neural interlink signal. It appears to be emanating from the center of the debris field. Is there possibly some connection between this signal and what's happening to Seven? Let's put it this way, I don't believe in coincedences. We're altering course again to take a closer look.
