Oh, to be a kid again.

The innocence of children is quite possibly one of the most amazing things in the entire world. I spent the evening with a two year old and a four year old, and they can teach you so much if you just pay attention for a minute. The joy they found in trying to "find Tinkerbell" was heartwarming. Am I sounding cheesy and lame? Probably, but I guess it was just something I had never paid much attention to. At their age they haven't gone through the things that really change you, and not always for the better. The way Morgan's eyes lit up when Madeline would shout "I FOUND TINKERBELL!" then she would throw grass in the air and tell Morgan she had flown away ... I miss that. I don't ever remember having that kind of care-free innocence, because lets face it, none of us can really remember those days. But, I wish we could, because if we could - I think those memories of care-free days like that would help us get through so much. I mean, sure we "remember" things that our parents and grandparents tell us we did ( like going on walks with my grandma, walking into neighbors yards to pick their 'flawers' ). Alright, I think I'm done with my trip down "memory lane". All I know is that I'm going to miss these girls terribly once school starts ... but, I am ready to go. September 18th ... only a month away.

Oh - and any thoughts on the hair color? Keep it blonde, or return to the brown that everyone loved so much two years ago when I gave it a try. Blonde or brown - leave your thoughts, if you have any.
