GOD, I love horses. XD
They're so awesome~. Ever have a childhood obsession that you kinda forget about, then get back into? THATS ME AND HORSES. Geeze, there was an entire summer seventh grade where running around on my hands and knees was FASTER for me than walking. It was awesome. xDDD;;;
I swear to god I was a horse in my past life. o_o No effing joke.
So we went to my mom's friend Karen's "ranch" today. It rocked my socks. <3 I got to riiiide. The horse I rode had a leg condition, so he walked funny, but that's okay because he was as sweet as you can get and cantered for me. <3 Connor, the horse, was absolute love.
They also have three little babies there. They're not exactly little anymore, being weaned and all, but they're still pretty foal-ish if you're into horses. THEY'RE GODDAMN ADORABLE. <3 And all three are astonishingly sweet. Two roans and a bay. The youngest, surprisingly, is the biggest. HE'S HUGE. O_o; Like, my-height-at-the-shoulders huge. And he's not even done growing yet. I've contemplated submitting a name for him. "Mohawk." XD;;
But Mohawk was the biggest bully ever. D: He kept shoving the poor others out of the way when people would come up to pet the three of them. xD; The other boy, the roan, was just a sweetie pie, but I didn't "talk" to him as much. The little girl, with a star, was just really sweet too. I want to name one, really bad. ;_;
Like, the one with the star, "Starcrossed Juliet" or something. <3
But yeah, it was awesome. :3 Next time we go back, theres going to be this smart little filly all trained up and broken to the saddle. So like, Kathleen gets to gallop. <3333333
