I'm writing my synopsis. Yes, still. I have a, um, "working" draft (it's 7 pages, single-spaced and Not Viable to Send to Anyone), but I'm having issues whittling it down and making it enticing.
I can make a few paragraphs sound good, but I keep getting tripped up by details. I want a 1 to 1 1/2 page synopsis, and yet I find myself continuously slipping into too-detailed descriptions of what's going on. Does anyone else do this when writing a synopsis? It's making me crazy.
So does anyone have a good method for synopsizing? I'm willing to try just about anything at this point... I know I can do this, but I'm stuck in the craptastic drafts phase and it's so darn frustrating!
Also, I seem to require Finn singing "Jessie's Girl" to get anything relating to the synopsis done. No idea why. It's almost starting to get on my nerves, but I can't stop!
