Children's Literature IS Literature

I know, I haven't posted in a while (again). Argh! I will post soon about my lovely weekend with some fabulous writer ladies, but for now I wanted to share Harry Potter, Seriously by Philip Nel, in which he defends the study of Harry Potter. As someone who basically got her undergrad degree in Harry Potter (three large projects, at least two small), and her MFA in children's lit, I get very tired of explaining over and over that children's literature is literature. From now on I'll just point people to Mr. Nel's post & be done with it.
