I am writing a love triangle.
Yes, I've written other love triangles (technically at some points W&F is a bit of a love-pentagon...), but never ones where I don't know who the MC winds up with! (And yes, b, I'm counting W&F as one where I knew, cause I still thought I knew who it was-- & no telling! Shhh!)
I realized this today as I was writing-- I thought the guy that liked her wasn't an option, cause she kept telling me he wasn't. Well, guess what, characters are liars! Total liars. I should know better than to trust them after Arion lied to me for a good 5 years, but oh, no. I still go on, blindly believing whatever they tell me.
I started to suspect something was amiss when I actually got to talk to him yesterday, but then today I realized, wait, her reasoning isn't sound! It's not even based on her not liking him, cause she does! She's just being Marna & saying she can't be with him.
Hmph. *pouts*
I can't wait to get this girl to start recognizing (and admitting) her feelings. I have a feeling things will get Very Interesting.
