Thankful Thanksgiving.

Yeah, that subject kinda sucks, but I'm 'zhausted & that's what I came up with.

Here is a list of things I am thankful for, in no particular order:

1) Emma. She's the sweetest doggie & she's very warm & almost always willing to keep me company while I'm writing. So long as I'm writing on the couch and she can nose the laptop off my lap when she wants cuddles. (And if anyone guessed she's top o' the list cause she's lying on my feet right now... you might be right.)

2) Hubby. Cause he's awesome, and has never once said I need to give up writing (just maybe not kill myself over it, and I kinda have to agree with that one!). He also remembers to do things like pay bills and eat, both of which I'd forget way more often if it wasn't for him. He is also willing to tell me when I'm being totally unreasonable & crazy, which is a good thing. Usually. :)

3) My family, who have also never suggested I give up writing, and who encourage me and tell me it will happen. I love them very much & am glad they're coming for dinner tomorrow. Er, today. In like, less than 12 hours...

4) My bestie, b, who talks me out of going crazy over everything, from writing to IRL shtuff & a zillion other reasons, not the least of which is that one day we will write that MO story ;-) Also, b's Hubby, cause he's awesome :)

5) My crit partner, Jess, who gives me amazing critique and tells me when I'm giving too many stage directions (this is like, every other paragraph... She has the patience of a saint, this girl). I can't believe such a talented person is my CP. (She also sends great care packages. :)

6) My crit group & community of beta readers & writerly friends. Cause they're all awesome in their own ways & I can't say enough how lucky I am that I get to be friends with all these amazing people.

7) Having a job that allows me time to write, with a boss who introduces me as a writer-- which is totally awesome.

8) Arion. Isis. Celestia. Mordecai. Josephine. D. David. Phillip. Loosh. Gen. Wynne. Gianni. Adelaide. Bree. Remi. Jax. Nessa. Without them, there'd be no stories.

And, before I start editing out how many times I used the words "awesome" and "amazing" in this entry, I'm going to bed.

writing, thanks
