"Finished" my draft of ACCURSED last night.

By that I mean I got back to THE END for the second time.

Then I pulled out my Beat Sheet and began page calculations (yes, I'm using algebra to fix my pacing-- thanks Mr. Nic! (8th Grade Algebra Teacher)). So now I know which pages I want/need certain beats to fall on (which means I know where I need to cut chunks of words).

Printed out my Novel Inventory (from Darcy Pattison's Novel Metamorphosis) for this draft, and got to work on my revised chapter notes (this is how I outline).

Also opened my Shrunken Manuscript (from the book listed above) and hit print (stupidly-- I missed a chapter & now have to reprint the last 20 pages *sigh*).

So I'm neck-deep in revision yet again. At least this is a "cutting" phase, not a "combing through & rewriting" one. This should fix my (known) problems in the current draft before I do a beta call (yes, that will be forthcoming).

NaNo? What NaNo? ;-) I'll catch up soon. Remi's semi-patient, or at least more patient than Gen, so she can wait.

ETA: Scratch that last bit. Just wrote about 1300 words in Remi's story. I love this book. And the playlist is so fun, too. Ah, I'm writing something without totally dark elements! Who am I?!?
