Fanart: "You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you"
So I've been on an art making kick lately. And I like it. I've also been really enjoying watching (and rewatching) the 1995 version of Pride and Prejudice, the miniseries done by the BBC. I first saw it as a sophomore in high school. My teacher wanted us to "read" the book, but we didn't have time so she showed us the movie. Honestly, I think she just wanted to drool over Colin Firth like the rest of us. That, and in my section of honors English there were only two guys, so I think we would have watched it even if she couldn't pretend that it was educational in some way. Anyway, aside from The X-files, this was my first big fandom. Colin Firth, along with David Duchovny, my first celebrity crush that I can remember and point out. So, I've been watching it on youtube and a line from Mr. Darcy's proposal keeps sticking in my mind, and I thought I would make some banners to go along with it. The first is a straight up text banner. The second is for In Plain Sight, because I miss that show and love Mary and Marshall and think that despite what Marshall says, he's still in love (love love, not friendship love) with her. The last one is for The Mentalist. The image I use is from season 6, though in and of itself its not got any spoilers. I just liked the shot. Please enjoy!
