obligatory stalling post
Ummmmm, fuck. So I'm supposed to be writing this paper and it's not so much going well as it is not going at all. I'm tired and it's only 8:20. Bad news for Kather. I am so running back to science based classes after this. Only not. Damn. Oh well.
In other happy news, I'm 19! Yes, I did it, I lived through another year and I feel no different. Still, my birthday was a lot of fun. I skipped out on homework and instead did fun things like pick up prospies (from the Crystal Palace! Not in a weird way!), rode a campus bike, wore a skirt, wore a shirt that said "hug me it's my b-day" crafted by Christy, get random hugs from a variety of people due to t-shirt, get a fun letter from Rachel, bum around, blow out 19 candles on a cake before the fire alarm went off, attempt to track down Nor4 kids, end up on Nor2 playing super smash brothers and eating dark chocolate M&Ms (crazy good) and eating more sugary foods during the floor study break. So yes, fun was had.
This weekend I was actually up in MN for a time. Jessie, Kirby, Julia, Erin, Allie and I all piled in one car and drove up Friday night. I went to the high school play on Saturday with my brother and Erin and Julia, and Kirby and Jessie but they don't count as much. I ended up in a strange triangular conversation with Duffy and Youakim. That was weird. I also talked to Senior Winslow and Shoger. So many teachers!! Anyhow, during intermission I ran into Lora and I found out that she's going to Grinnell next year!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Next year is going to be insane. I'm living with Christy, next door to Kirby and Jessie, across the hall from Brigitte and Topher, down the hall from Julia, Erin, Mer, Allie, Heather and Chris, and above Vince and Polta among others. Plus, all my other friends are living in either James or B, with the exception of Adam and Sean who are sad and alone on North campus. This should be interesting. No work will be done ever.
I think I'm going to stall on this paper by doing my stats hw. Good plan. Then maybe I'll try to write some more and if that fails I'll go hide in a bathroom and cry and maybe go back to the dorm and cry some more. This week is going to be fun. Word.
