I found this article/blog earlier today and needed to post it here. One of my pet peeves is when people misuse the word addicting (which is pretty much anytime anyone uses the word, as I can't recall ever having heard someone use it in the proper context.)
http://dionidium.com/2006/02/addictingSometimes I feel like a bitch for getting irritated over grammatical errors, especially when I'm sure there are mistakes that I make too ("less" vs. "fewer" required having Dr. Harris yell at me before I remembered the difference). However, I feel like this needs to be said, as people (including profs) seem to be saying it more and more lately. Transitive verb, not adjective, BAM!
Am I just avoiding work?
Am I getting crankier and more impatient as years go on?
To find out, tune in next time, same Kat time, same Kat channel.
(p.s. if you don't know what I'm quoting, your childhood was sorely lacking in Adam West. KERPOW!)
