With a bit of help
I'm back in business.
I never got more of a donation than the $50 sent in by one of my very best friends, Dirjanka, but I do have a MacBook now. The long and short of it is, the computer store where I work is having a tent sale getting rid of things before the new stuff comes in - so I got a MacBook with a 60GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a 2.04GHz processor, a Combo Drive, and Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac all for $699 plus tax. It's good to work at a university sometimes.
I'm still a bit sad to have lost many of my programs and all of my story notes for Ash and Azure, but I'm back in business. Writing can recommence.

I'm going to pick back up work editing Verdant tonight and writing on Ash tomorrow. Tonight is costume fitting for Dragon*Con
