the joys of analog sound!
I hooked up my parents' tape recorder to a tinny microphone today. Watching the tape move as it records is very comforting. Tapes withstand harddrive crashes and a good deal of abuse. It's so fun!
Class this morning was a little boring. I slept all afternoon, only groggily answering the door when Alice stopped by. I hardly remember her coming and going. Did that really happen?
I bought good food at the grocery store. SWEET POTATOES! Then, I lost my phone charger and found it again. Cut off access to the universe. Read Popular Mechanics. Looking forward to band practice this evening. Looking for a plot. (I thought I found one in my afternoon dream where I was shot in the head by my neighbor. Even though she shot me square in the forehead, I did not die. I lived to hold great shame in my heart that I did not know my neighbor at all, and figured I deserved to die. Then, in my next dream of the afternoon, I was convinced that this story would be the perfect plot for our movie, but then upon waking I realized how wrong I was.) I miss dancing contact so much. I would like to be squished.
