Much has happened since I last wrote in here, I can't recall everything but one of the biggest situations was Helen's father having contacted me on MySpace and basically announced that he wanted to get back together. No idea where he got the nerve to even think I'd be interested or would want that, and it WAS highly insulting that he actually thought I had feelings for him. But, since I told him why Helen's said she doesn't want to be around him, he hasn't written a word to me since. So much for his claims of not wanting to lose touch with me.......really does go to show exactly how "sincere" his claims of having changed are.
In other news, I'm still at Macy's, but as soon as the department manager gets around to setting up a time for me to meet with the HR department, it's goodbye me. I've known this would happen for some time, and I'd rather not get into details right now, only that my job category was eliminated, and the options I'd be offered as a replacement are NOT practical for me. At least, being a sales associate.....I'm not sure that I'd want to be a merchandiser, because what they do isn't that much different from what I do at the library, and that isn't something I want either.
