I took Helen to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" yesterday, and we had a great time, although I ended up getting gunk all over the bottom of my purse because someone had spilled soda on the floor under the seats.
As for the movie itself, it of course was different from the version I'd grown up with, but it was interesting to think about how the two movies were similiar to each other and the book, and how they were different. And as always, it was a pleasant surprise to see Christopher Lee in the movie.
