waiting for lift
this may end abruptly if my lift arrives - a rep from the PArkinson's disease society who is taking me to a PD support group down in Billingham in order to try and find one or two of them who would be willing to play with my trial ie help the trial run well, ask the right questions, help with data interpretation not be a trial participant. Am somewhat nervous - running my idea of what seemed sensible via the AT teachers resulted in a fairly major re-write and a lot more costs when they disagreed with my idea of sensible (not the first nor likely to be the last time that happens lol) - so ruinning my ideas past "real people" with Parkinsons may also hit a reality check.
Ewan is doing well but has a bug thats making him a bit hot intermittently and not very energetic - Dan also has it so felt very guilty when had to disappear off to work - but there was no way I could take Ewan in with me today. It is fun watching hime develop - almost in front of you - lots more control of sitting, trying out being on front and attempting to lift self up - crawling is definately on the near horizon - hmmm must build cage and get lots of gates soon.
Have gotten flooring in, but must pick up green levelling boards and gold underlay on Sat when MArilyn, Jo (and car) arrive. Hope weather has cooled down a bit by weekend to allow much laying of floor. Did wallpaper stripping this weekend so walls all stripped up to head height - couldn't face doing the bits on ladders yet - and now its way too hot to try.
Hope lift arrives soon - office is doing sauna impression - and I've no way to contact her - oh I'm sure it'll be fine
anyway thats about all my news and burblings for the time being I'm off to Billingston (I hope)
