yesterday on the bus i heard this girl say that she doesn't like the zoo bc if she wanted to see wild animals she would go exploring for them herself. her boyfriend seemed to think this was a perfectly reasonable thing to say despite stating himself that she was so frail he could crush her manicured hands in his own.
the day before that i heard some dude on the bus say he wouldn't go visit his girlfriend who had moved to mexico city because he didn't want to get kidnapped. my immediate thought was, who would want to kidnap you?
