Yeah, yeah, yeah...
I know it's been a long time. I'll post a whopper tomorrow, but for now, big news.
I did NOT pass the Bar.
The ironic thing is that they told us that getting an 8 or above on the essays (out of 10) was almost impossible, yet I GOT 8s OR HIGHER ON NINE OUT OF FIFTEEN ESSAYS, including 2 tens and 3 nines. Tens across the board would have passed me. Hey Steph, I blew the first question, the hockey one. Got a 2!!
The problem? The multiple choice, which I KNEW would be my sticking point. I literally BLEW the multiple choice. Or it blew me. Not sure how that works.
Rinse, Repeat cycle in February. Substitute teaching, here I come.
Haven't cried that hard in a LONG time.
At least I'm in good company. Several REALLY smart people didn't pass, and I believe this is the hardest graded exam they've had yet, since it looks like they only passed about half of the people who took it. In comparison, most states let in between 75 and 80%.
And CONGRATULATIONS to Ang, Lori, Kristen and Jenny, who all passed. I'm so proud of you all.
Steph, here's to (barring any sudden changes or wonderful job offers) four more months of being able to see each other a lot. Study session once a week, in addition to our movie days?
I'm in Colorado Springs with my brother and sister-in-law, and doggy nephew and NEW doggy niece. More on that next time. All I have to say is that I miss high speed connections. Up to Denver today.
