All I can say if that the opportunity to quote Monty Python makes any situation seem better! Hope this laptop lives more than a few days!

I hope so too. The first one lived to the ripe old age of 3, that's not too shabby for a laptop but its successor drove me insane. This baby here will hopefully be with me for years too.

The stupid thing was possessed, I tell you. I was tempted to shut it into a cupboard during the night so it wouldn't bonk me over the head.

I was on a all-week seminar last week and had to borrow a friends laptop to gain access to the net. It showed me how dependent/addicted I am to knowing what is going on in the wide, wide world and not just the boondocks. The sent us to an old cloister!!! And not even an interesting one to make us concetrate on the essentials. Bha, internet and at least two hours a day to surf ARE essential. *growls*

My first one going boom wasn't that much of a surprise, it was old and tired. The successor, not so much. BTW Big, big thank you for the link. If I wasn't so behind EVERYTHING I would use it in a fic.
