(no subject)
carpel tunnel is playing up again so I don't know how much I can type.
Had a great time with Mum here. We went to plaza to pick up the tip I had ordered so we went and looked at stuff we don't often get around to. I wanted a fabric scarf for covering my hair and ended up finding one I adore. It's bigger than I intended but it's so pretty. I can also wear it as a shawl. I'll get photos soon. I'm going to wear it all the time as soon as it's cooler.
Mum paid for it as my christmas present.
I also ended up getting an elastic belt. I have a really old red one that used to be Ruth's grandma's but I wanted a black one.
We grabbed some shopping and we were all hungry so we went and got burgers from Grill'd. They were out of the schnitzel so I got a chicken burger and R got one of the beef ones and we had half of each, each. Mum got two of the sliders. It was all really good.
After food Ruth and mum went to go check out Lush while I hid from the smell. They seemed to enjoy themselves. Mum wants to come back once she's got money and buy loads of stuff. I'm not sure why we haven't got her Lush stuff before actually. It's totally her thing. I just can't get near the shop.
Then we headed to the churro shop. Mum loves chocolate. She got churros and R and I got hot chocolate. R got caramel hot chocolate and I got hazelnut hot chocolate. OMG it was so good. But too much. I got a medium cup but should have got the tiny one. It was a but much.
We just hang out at home for the rest of the night. We stayed up way too late watching Big Fat Quiz 2016.
The next day I made egg bacon cheese. We used to make it growing up. It's delicious but really not healthy. So much cheese. But Paul doesn't like it so mum doesn't have it at home.
You basically fill a casserole dish with grated cheese, put cut up bacon on top, some tinned tomatoes and then cover it with beaten egg and bake it for about 50 mins.
Mum got home okay. It was great to see her.
