Arg. Money sucks.
Rego time and a trip to Sydney. Don't want to cancel as it's the only time in forever we'll get to see Misswinterhill
Going to go through what we have made and put some stuff up on etsy tomorrow I think. I hate trying to come up with shit to say and I think I'm going to have to go with what photos I can get rather than perfect photos but something might sell. Maybe.
Going to see what else I can make up quickly. Maybe some more sheepy earrings.
If the work I'd done on presents this year was actually able to be sold at a proper price for it we'd have hundreds of dollars but I don't think it would actually sell for the sort of prices that would make it worth doing the work again.
Something that takes weeks of working on it would have to sell for around $200-$400 and I just don't think people would pay that for a jacket or a felted figure or animal. Time wise I'm not efficient enough at it right now. I'd like to do some embroidery. I could do that well enough to sell with not as much time input but I don't have the embroidery hoops to sell as a finished object.
If I can get around to it without making myself sick I may get some photos edited to put up on Redbubble for prints.
Don't suppose anyone would pay for prints of any of my previous artworks. Commission artworks aren't really happening any more because Potter has dwindled away and in Sherlock there are so many artists that are so much better than me offering commissions. A lot of people offer prints but I don't think I've done much in the fandom that is good enough for that.
Not that anyone else has much money right now I know but just in case here's a link to our page for knitted, felted or painted commissions
