I have a 6 year old Konica-Minolta Dynax 5D. I bought it just as Konica-Minolta was being bought out by Sony. I only have kit lenses with it. It's
I've had to get a new card for it (the equivalent of a motherboard in a camera) but it's been pretty good. I'd like to get some decent prime lenses but it's starting to show it's age now and falling apart a bit.
I'd love to get a new one but they're so expensive. And after this DSLR I don't think I could go back to a point and shoot. They're so slow. It drives me nuts pressing the button and waiting for an age for the shutter to go.
I do adjust the layers in Photoshop on most of them. And some of these have filters on. I have an awesome 70's action for Photoshop that does something to the colours and black balance that works fantastically for some shots.
It has anti-shake built into the body so that helps. It's old though and doesn't do video like the new ones and it's only 6.1 megapixel. It was what I could afford at the time and it's done me well. It's heavier than I'd like. I don't know if they've got much lighter now. It was fairly light for it's time but I often don't take it with me because I lack the energy to walk and carry it.
