Commission for tjwritter
The awesome tjwritter commissioned me to draw a scene from her smut4flowers entry Tour Guide. It really is a wonderful story and it was a pleasure to draw from it.
I ended up painting the background slightly different to normal. It was sunset and the colours were very rich. I put on bold colours and then built up the texture and graduation of light and shadow on top of that with low opacity brushes.
I looked at lots of references of Seattle alleys and ended up taking elements from a whole bunch of them.
The background of the picture was important to the story but the fest the picture was to be part of was a smut fest and art had to be at least an R. To get both the background and the smut in I decided to do three panels. Boy it was a rush getting this one done in time.
