mmmm and there it is
Remember this guy? Over the past couple weeks, he somehow managed to turn into my incredibly amazing and thoughtful boyfriend…it's really odd and wonderful how life works sometimes.
We've been just been dating, but instead of fizzling out as they ususally do, it just kept getting better and more comfortable and safe and lovely. And then one morning when I was getting ready at his place, i realized i didn't have a toothbrush but when i got out of the shower, I found that he had left his own toothbrush and had already put toothpaste on it for me.
And we stood there making faces at eachother in the mirror through the toothpaste bubbles as i gurgled, "I think this means you can finally tell people you're my boyfriend." always classy kate, always classy.
and it just comes down to those little moments when he knows you're going to be working late (again) so he shows up with starbucks in one hand and a box of hairpins in the other because he knows your cat ate your last one and you always start putting your hair up when you're stressed.
It's really unnerving how similar we are sometimes. odd little things i thought I'd never have in common with anyone. but second nature for both of us.
alas, I have to get back to work. more to come if i ever find some more time to breathe around here.
