My auntie Ricky died of cancer a few years back. Over Christmas holidays, my aunt Connie had brought some of her clothes. We all went through them, and some of us selected a few things. Sarah and I came home with some shirts, a couple pairs of windpants with the NWT polar bear on them, and (what I, at least, consider to be the most epic of the lot), this hat:
Our hairdresser/family friend Sandy is doing chemo right now, and has started to lose her hair. This week, when we're in Lethbridge, there will be an extensive head-shaving in support of Sandy. I would imagine that this will be one of the hats that keeps my head warm thereafter.
Just sharing...
