I am watching an old episode of the Simpsons (season 12, episode 20), in which Homer tears his ACL. He just got up out of a wheelchair and tried to run, post-surgery. His leg went off to the side. I had an adrenal response.
Good to know that even a cartoon character hurting his knee to the sound of cracking celery (which is close to the sound it makes, but not fully accurate) will get that reflex going. My knee and fingers are tingling.
