Legos, Legos, Everywhere
Yesterday, while I attended a Brownie Try-Its day with Rachel and the troop, Jim took Terry to the local Lego store to get his birthday present. So now Terry is the proud owner of ....

a Lego Mindstorm NXT 2.0!!!!
After paying for summer camps the last two years, we decided that it is much cheaper in the end to buy him his own robot kit. Terry has already begun to repackage the smaller pieces in gallon-sized ziplock bags, build one robotic arm, and program the command module.
But the surprising news of yesterday - Jim bought me my very own Legos!!!! I have never owned a Lego set before - I never even really played with them before I had kids. But the more I played Legos with the kiddos, the more I realized how much fun it is to turn a random pile of bricks into a castle or a spaceship or a tank... And now I can do that with my own Legos!!!
