Yes, the roofing company actually showed up yesterday.  After the lovely snow on Sunday, our roof was covered in ice.  So yesterday morning we assumed that the roofing company would wait a day to start working

Oh, man. I would have taken a shower last night. I can't go to bed when I'm feeling that grungy.

I hate being surprised by people like that!

Yeah, on one hand I really want the roof done.

On the other hand, I hate when people surprise me like that.
