i feel so bad
my cousin Beth married her husband Shawn young because of their daughter Hannah. they used to be happy. now there're problems.
Shawn drinks a lot and gambles away Beth's hard earned money. he even took all of her jewelery and pawned it off for money to gamble. he wants to move to New Hampshire, away from all of Beth's family and her current job, so he can live closer to his parents who he thinks are going to help him financially (they're poor themselves, so that'll never happen). he was in an accident a while back so his back is all messed up. he's not supposed to lift, but he can still help take care of their kids, right? but he doesn't do anything around the house.
yesterday, Beth took all of her and Hannah's things from their house, packed it all up, and moved into her mother's house across the street from us. we helped her with the move. now Shawn wants to take Hannah for a while. he has every legal right to do so, but he's a horrible parent. we're all afraid he's going to take her out of state and claim that he took her "on vacation" and not bring her back. we all want Beth to get a restraining order against him.
i'm not sure what's going to happen, but i'm afraid for Beth. she's such a good person, she doesn't deserve to go through this. neither do Hannah and Kayleigh.
