oh happy days
Well the party went really well on friday! A nice amount of people showed up which is a big surprise when you look at my past parties. There were only a couple casualties. Michelle got really sick and so did brian, but everyone helped Michelle and Kara took care of brian. the other two casualties that happened were one of Scott's antique chairs lost a leg and Ben through it in the fire. That was kinda crappy. Then someone carved something into the table, which I'm not really sure who did it or what it says. The fridge was completely emptied out. People were eating just slices of kraft cheese because that was all that was left. But all around it was successful. It was funny to watch how Matt, Rob and Scott did or did not socialize with my friends that came. I'll put up some of the pictures later when I get a chance.
Other good news! I got that job I wanted at West Point, working for CPAC. I'm going to get paid $11.42/hr, work full time and my job is to be a laborer. I'm not sure what a laborer has to do, but the lady told me most likely cleaning and maitenance and being a helper to someone who actually knows what they're doing. It will be all gravy. Depending on how much crap I have to do and how tired i am after working that job, I may or may not get a second part time job. Maybe just work the weekends or something. Maybe I could be part time at Hotel Thayer as a waitress again and get extra cash that way. oh well. I'm just really happy that I got that job because its good money and good hours and my dad said that if I didn't get a job I wouldn't be able to live with him for the summer.
