Kure for Kate
I am taking on the challenge to make a difference in our community by participating in the Arthritis Walk as part of "Let's Move Together," the Arthritis Foundation's nationwide movement that encourages people to move to prevent or treat arthritis.
Why am I involved? It's estimated that there are over 300,000 children fighting the battle against Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and I am one of them. Many kids suffer for years undiagnosed as casualties of the national shortage of pediatric rheumatologists across the nation. My personal struggle began at the age of 13 and has redefined my aspirations and career goals. My disease has brought me enlighten and the desire to put a face on the 1 in 5 people who suffer from the pain of arthritis. By the year 2030, 67 million people in the U.S., or 1 in 4 adults, will be living with arthritis.* We need to find a cure.

Join me in the movement and help me reach my goal. "Let's Move Together" to improve lives and reduce the pain of arthritis suffers young and old.
