The end of the run-around!
Finally! The wonderful lady from the Marysville clinic called and said that (on the fourth try) the fax had finally come through! So I drove down and got the Daughter and we went back up. She got seen (though once she was back in one of the room, the nurse told her that what we should have done was make an appointment with one of the Doctors! But she asked one of the Doc's back there to see her and all was well. So she got her "I can go back to work" slip and went back today. Apparently, somewhere along the way, the rules have changed within my company as to how we're supposed to deal with work-related injuries. Of course, they haven't sent us any notifications about these changes... But at least we finally got this resolved!
(The thing that gets me the most... that the Occupational Health Care Clinic (that we couldn't be treated by) closes at 4:30 pm. So, no one is supposed to get hurt after that? There are at least 4 large factories within a 5-mile radius of this clinic, not to mention the Edison plant right down the road. And they are all running 24/7. You would think it would be worth it to them to stay open a little bit later to take care of the people who get hurt on the night shift. But that would be too logical, and heaven knows, the insurance industry does not work in a logical way!)
