(no subject)
saw michael palin on the strand earlier. he's real handsome and no mistakin. and tim gane is dj'ing tomorrow night after belle and sebastian! i'm very excited! may well have convinced P. to come along which would be great, esp considering he hates belle and sebastian.
things have been quite good. though meh to things at work. so glad i am but in the outer echelons of office politics. i think i am not helping by unintentionally ignoring someone, i don't mean to but i'm being a bit spacy today. i have brought in my speakers to use with my new computer (which is superfast!) and have been listening to my cd's which has put me in a bouncy happy mood!
spent most of yesterday with a dreadful headache and for some reason when i got home i decided it would be a good idea if i did some exercise. extreme leg muscle pain was the unfortunate result! the journey upstairs to the shower afterwards would've made an excellent advertisement for them electronic stairmaster things. but will endeavour to repeat this tonight, i have two Christmas parties and a birthday party next week. and i promised S. i would go to have dinner at her new house on saturday. and i need to have a celebratory dinner for P. this weekend as well. eek! next weekend there will be a Christmas party at my house which will be fantastic, esp as i am not organising anything! am muchly looking forward to this, there will be proper mulled wine with burning sugar spires in them apparently, and lots of cinammon biscuits! i've already eaten most of the marzipan i was meant to donate, oops. anyway, yes. instead of undertaking a punishing exercise schedule come the new year, like i always intend to and never do, i will be exercising as i eat (not literally) (well that is somewhat possible considering the rest of the marzipan is right next to the telly, but i'll try not to), avoiding any further expansion of waistline whilst still stuffing myself silly. well, that's the plan anyway.
have been very good with my advent calander and have not opened all the doors and eaten the chocolate within thus far. its a lovely calander with a picture of father Christmas on a sled with some wolves and presents and so forth. so far, my piccies have been:
day 1: robins on a branch
day 2: wolf
day 3: present
the best advent calander i've ever had was 101 dalmations with white and milk chocolate puppies to eat!
have a horrible feeling i will be staying late today.. maybe i will stay late tomorrow instead and go shopping tonight. oh, and i finished the idiot on the bus this morning!! hurrah, finally!!!!!
