bought my brand new dvd player yesterday, yay!! now i never have to leave my room, except to get more biscuits perhaps. loads of M.'s dvds were lying around, like a sign that i had made the right decision in buying it (rather pricy it was). my arms ache from carrying it home though, i am such a pitiful weakling. M. has the spirited away dvd what i was going to see in b'ham this w/end and now can view from the comfort of my own home, lovely. its been rather a dull week really so am muchly looking forward to a nice civilised dinner at P.'s house tomorrow and definitely looking forward to getting my hair cut, its bloody awful at the moment. kindof want to get an asymmetrical fringe but then it would take the point out of bothering to grow it. will look at hair magazines at marylebone this evening for ideas but will probably let the hairdresser talk me into something terrible anyway - i'm getting it done in solihull so am slightly scared.

very much looking forward to next week now: spending quality time with my dvd player, hidden cameras on wednesday (who are fantastic live), lucksmiths + aislers set on thursday, either half man half biscuit or a japanese music festival on friday then the actionettes at hdif, possibly fiel garvie and then sb on saturday, most likely lots of sleeping on sunday - hurrah! must buy a new dress for friday night though i'm not sure when i'll find the time...

kid on the bus today, around 10 years old (not very good at telling children's ages) wearing a cccp jacket with a hammer and sickle patch. he was reading his dad's guardian in a comedy american voice to his pal. kidz today eh.
