just out of curiosity i've been looking at the fco website at the vacancies section, i can't believe how easy it is to get in at policy level! its pretty similar to what i used to do, though it would be a lot busier. theres too much overseas work involved for my liking, i think i've spent more than enough time away from family and friends over the past few years.
