went to see the french last night, if anyone thought hefner were a bit too london-centric then the french aren’t going to be setting their world on fire.
had a pleasant wander around covent garden today at lunch with P. - had some lovely pistachio gelato (i did ask for tiramisu but it was only a pound so i can’t complain). saw (another) P. who i see intermittently in london, what runs the south london club at the windmill in brixton (which sadly seems to be in remittance), and bought a badge of an angry looking cat off him (he has a market stall at covent garden craft market so if you ever feel the need for a tee shirt or badge with an animal print on it, hes yer man).
my office is organising a huge project to do with the rugby world cup and my manager has just ordered huge posters to be made up so we can display them in our office windows on the strand. one of them features an unpleasantly large rugbybloke leaping in the air and another unpleasantly large rugbybloke trying to grab him in such a way that his hand appears to be grabbing rugbybloke1’s bollocks. oh the hilarity - we will surely be the laughing stock of the building, well my manager will be anyway. why can’t i win the fucking lotto already.
i'm exceedingly moody today. not a good sign for the weekend.
