Today I heard some of awful news. Cortney Kennedy, one of my really good friends, and her older sister, Katie, were in a terrible car accident yesterday. Cortney was in ICU all night and is now better but had a fractured Pelvis but Katie died at the scene. This is such a terrible thing, especially right before Graduation. The accident was actually right by my work, I saw it on my way to work yesterday. The whole intersection of John R and Big Beaver(16) was closed off. I saw tons of ambulances and fire trucks and police cars. They were turning on a green arrow and this woman t-boned them when she ran the red light. It's always the people who have never done anything wrong, that are the sweetest people ever, that this terrible stuff happens to. I just don't understand it. Why? Cort, I hope you feel better very soon. Hopefully I will be able to visit tomorrow after Grad rehersal and Honors rehersal.
